PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Special refractory sealant that is heat-resistant up to 1250 °C. Extremely suitable for application around fireplaces, stone ovens, barbecues and fire box of ceramic barbecues. Also suitable for bonding refractory bricks. Suitable for repairing and sealing cracks, seams and joints in fireplaces, multi-burners, stoves, chimneys and assembling and sealing concrete fireplaces and barbecues. Also suitable for temporary sealing of car and motorcycle exhaust systems. Bonds to metal, stone and concrete. Not suitable for central heating systems and gas pipes.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Use a sealant gun to handle cartridge.
Open the cartridge by cutting off the plastic nipple on the top side at the screw thread with a sharp knife. Screw on the nozzle and chamfer at the desired width.
Slightly moisten the joint with water before applying. Inject the sealant evenly into the joint and tool immediately with a wet putty knife.
Allow to dry for at least 24 hours (cover from rain showers in outside use). Then heat gently until the sealant has cured. For exhaust systems, first apply a layer of sealant, press in a piece of fiberglass cloth and cover it again with sealant. Allow it to dry for at least 24 hours.
Remove excess sealant immediately with water.
Remove wet stains and residue immediately with water. Cured residue can only be removed mechanically.

Points of attention: Once fired up, the sealant may colour slightly lighter (depending on temperature).
The sealant can only withstand 1250°C until it is fully cured. Always test the adhesion before application. Do not use on permanently wet areas. Thermal loading of the sealant when it is not yet entirely cured may result in the forming of tears and even crumbling of the sealant. After some time, a liquid film will form on the sealant, but
this has no effect on the quality of the sealant. Usage in electrical equipment can be hazardous with regard to the conductivity of the product.
